I can understand people disliking DLCs but it is an alternative to InDev where you get a complete (SHOULD BE) game for a lower price with maybe not a huge amount of content and then more coming later dropping in and the price adds up (hopefully) to a big game for a normal price.

Not sure if the free DLC is included but that one you can just download for free if it is missing. The first game and its add-ons are still worth playing and sold here on GOG in a packet for a low price, if you want the game play and the whole packet. If you do not feel like waiting and can afford it, I think it is reasonably priced for a DLC. Well, I will not myself buy this before the complete package is for sale but then, I can wait. As it is now, it's no more different than episodic business model, which i also don't like at all.

I'd prefer it if they'd release a better featured game plus an expansion pack that contains all this content so i'd know what i'm dealing with here. Apologies for my negative stance, but this DLC business model is becoming old & (b)older. for a game that screams for a resonable discount when all this DLC-fest ends. I can go ahead and send this to Paradox and see what they think of it.Vythonaut. What do you think? Should a Jannisary unit type be implemented to better simulate the rise and fall of the Kebab?Įdit: this has gotten a lot more attention than I thought it would. That way, we see a rise of the Ottomans, but we can also, and finally, see a fall of the Ottomans. Come the Age Of Revolutions, there could be a Jannisary decadence event that disbands all of the janissary units or converts them into regular units, simulating the decline of the Ottoman Turks. What I propose is removing the Janissaries modifier/disaster completely, and adding a Janissary unit type similar to Banners/Streltsy/Cossacks, but with more morale or something of that sort. The ottoman government gives you a choice of 3 heirs, and naturally you choose the best one that happens to have 5 in one of the stats, thus preventing the disaster from ticking. The Übergodlyspacekebab Janissaries modifier gives absurd morale, discipline, and manpower recovery speed, and can only be removed by a disaster that almost never fires (had it happen once in a MP game, where we crushed them multiple times as Prussia and Byzzy).
